Compact Industrial Code Reader

The Solio MATRIX 220 382-010 is a fixed-mount 1D DPM barcode scanner built for warehouse and manufacturing environments. Its 1.2 MPixel high-resolution sensor and multicore image processing platform deliver reliable reads on direct part marks. The compact imager design allows integration into tight production line spaces where larger readers cannot fit.

Sustained Read Performance

The innovative lighting solutions are engineered specifically for DPM codes, maintaining consistent decode rates during continuous operation on challenging surfaces. The multicore processing platform handles high-throughput scanning without latency spikes that can disrupt automated workflows. This scanner is designed for the demanding duty cycles typical of industrial tracking applications.

Installation and Common Issues

Fixed mounting simplifies mechanical integration but requires precise alignment to the 7 mm focal distance for optimal DPM capture. The most frequent setup issue is insufficient contrast lighting on reflective or curved metal parts, which the dedicated illumination aims to resolve. Users without machine vision experience may need extra time to tune exposure and focus parameters.

Questions about this item

How much power does the Matrix 220 draw during continuous scanning shifts?

The Matrix 220 uses a 1.2 MPixel sensor and multicore processing platform designed for sustained warehouse and manufacturing use, with a compact form factor that limits heat buildup during long sessions.

Which mounting hardware and cabling must I already have to install the 382-010 reader?

The fixed-mount Matrix 220 requires a suitable bracket and host interface cable matched to your system; its compact body fits tight machine spaces but ships without mounting accessories.

Will the 220 imager read legacy 1-D codes on older production lines alongside DPM marks?

Yes, the 1.2 MPixel sensor decodes both standard 1-D barcodes and direct part marks at a 7 mm focus distance, letting it replace older scanners without changing label stock.
