8-Gallon Heavy-Duty Bags for Home Use

These 8-gallon drawstring bags come in a 45-count roll and are made from .8 mil polyethylene. They suit households that need reliable liners for kitchen bins, bathroom waste or light garden debris. The white material is scent-free and each bag measures 19.9 by 29.1 inches with a 30 litre capacity.

Upgrade from Thin Liners That Tear

Switching from flimsy bags that split under weight is worthwhile when you regularly fill bins to the 44 lb static load limit or need leak resistance for wet waste. The jump makes sense if drawstring closure and pre-separated sheets would save time on bin changes. Buyers who need larger volumes or industrial-grade thickness should look elsewhere.

Simple Roll Dispensing with One Snag

Pulling a pre-separated bag from the roll is straightforward and the drawstrings on both sides close the bag with a single motion. The drawstring itself holds up to 22 lb, so lifting a full bag by the strings alone can cause the closure to give way. If a bag sticks in the bin, ease it out slowly to avoid ripping the polyethylene.

Questions about this item

What bin size fits the 19.9" x 29.1" bag dimensions?

The bags measure 19.9 inches wide by 29.1 inches high and hold 8 gallons, so choose a bin with a matching circumference and depth.

How do I separate a single bag from the roll without tearing it?

Each of the 45 bags is pre-separated; pull one straight out from the roll instead of tearing along a perforation.

When should I replace a bag to avoid exceeding the 44 lb load limit?

Replace the bag before the contents reach 44 lb; the drawstring itself is rated for 22 lb, so lift carefully when the bag is heavy.
