Essential Protection Service Suite for TZ 470W

This hardware license activates the Essential Protection Service Suite on a SonicWall TZ 470W firewall. It delivers a bundled set of security services managed through the appliance for a fixed term. The suite is designed for organisations that want consolidated threat prevention and content control without assembling separate subscriptions. It covers the firewall for a continuous two-year period.

Suits administrators who need bundled security

This licence fits teams that require gateway anti-virus, intrusion prevention, application control, content filtering, anti-spam, and advanced threat protection with RTDMI in a single package. It also includes 24x7 support and network visibility features. It does not suit owners of other SonicWall models or those who only want individual security services rather than the complete suite. Buyers needing a longer or shorter coverage window should look at alternative licence durations.

Two-year coverage period locked to TZ 470W

The defining specification is the total coverage period of two years bound exclusively to the TZ 470W platform. The licence cannot be transferred to a different firewall model or extended beyond the stated term without a new purchase. Verifying the exact appliance model before ordering is the single step that determines whether this part is the correct one.

Yes, the 02-SSC-6512 Essential Protection Service Suite is built specifically for the TZ 470W appliance and adds the full security bundle to the unit you already own.

How can I confirm the Capture Advanced Threat Protection with RTDMI Technology is active after I register the 2-year licence?

Log into the TZ 470W management console and open the Licences page; the EPSS entry will show an expiry date two years from activation and the ATP status will read Enabled.
