The Sonnet xMac Mini Server Thunderbolt 3 Edition mounts a Mac mini in a 1U rack enclosure and connects it to two internal PCIe slots via Thunderbolt 3. A front panel power button mirrors the Mac mini switch while a front USB 3.0 port provides convenient peripheral access. Rear-mounted Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and USB 3.0 ports keep cabling tidy in server rooms.

Suits Pro Audio and Video Workflows

This enclosure targets users who need to add fibre channel, 10 GbE or capture cards to a Mac mini in a rack environment. Builders who require more than two PCIe slots or who work with desktop towers instead of rack infrastructure should look elsewhere.

Two PCIe Slots for I/O Expansion

The chassis accepts one full-length and one half-length PCIe card, providing room for a network card and a storage or video card simultaneously. Workloads demanding three or more add-in cards exceed the available slot count.
