Sony 512 GB SF-M UHS-II SDXC V60 Card

This 512 GB SDXC card uses the UHS-II interface and meets V60, U3 and Class 10 speed ratings. It is built for photographers and videographers who need reliable storage for high-resolution images and 4K video capture.

Installation and Common Issues

Insert the card into a UHS-II compatible slot or reader with the label facing up until it clicks. The most frequent issue is reduced speed when the host device or reader only supports UHS-I, which prevents the card from reaching its rated 277 MB/s read and 150 MB/s write performance.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Verify that your camera, recorder or card reader explicitly supports UHS-II and the V60 Video Speed Class to guarantee minimum 60 MB/s sustained write speeds. Confirm the operating temperature range of -25 °C to +85 °C matches your shooting environment and that the IP57 rating covers your expected exposure to water and dust.
