Kit Contents and Purpose

This bundle pairs the Sony Alpha a6700 mirrorless camera with a 16-50mm lens, Rode VideoMic, two 64GB UHS-II SDXC cards, and three NP-FZ100 batteries. It adds an external charger, flexible tripod, soft case, filter kit, cleaning kit, memory card wallet, micro HDMI cable, lens cap keeper, and a PC software suite. The kit is built for creators who want a complete shooting setup in one purchase.

Who This Suits and Who It Does Not

The 26MP APS-C sensor, BIONZ XR processor, and ISO 100-32000 range serve enthusiasts and aspiring videographers who need strong low-light performance and fast 11 fps continuous shooting. The vari-angle touchscreen and Real-Time Tracking with 759-point phase detection help solo creators and action shooters. Buyers who need full-frame sensor dimensions or internal RAW video recording should look at other systems.

The Specification That Decides Fit

The camera records UHD 4K at 120p and Full HD at 240p with 10-bit 4:2:2 output, supported by 5-axis in-body stabilisation and S-Log3 with user LUTs. This video specification is the primary factor for filmmakers deciding if the a6700 meets their workflow. Still photographers should weigh the 26MP resolution and APS-C format against their output requirements.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the Rode VideoMic to the a6700 and which step do people miss?

Slide the microphone onto the multi-interface shoe and tighten the locking wheel until it clicks; the step often missed is ensuring the shoe contacts are fully seated before locking.

What maintenance will the NP-FZ100 batteries and the 64 GB SF-M Tough cards need over time?

Recharge the three NP-FZ100 batteries before each shoot and replace them when they no longer hold a full day’s charge; reformat the two 64 GB cards in-camera after offloading footage to prevent file-system errors.

Which limit appears first during extended 4K 120p recording on the a6700?

The camera’s thermal protection typically stops recording before the two 64 GB cards fill, so monitor the temperature icon and allow cooling breaks during long sessions.
