Questions about this item

What E-mount lens do I need to start shooting with the a7R III body?

Any Sony E-mount lens or compatible third-party E-mount lens will work; the kit includes only the body cap, so a lens must be supplied separately.

Can I use my older A-mount lenses on this 42.4MP body?

Yes, with a Sony LA-EA adapter older A-mount lenses mount to the E-mount, retaining autofocus on supported models and full 42.4MP resolution.

How do I confirm the 399-point AF system is active after turning the camera on?

Half-press the shutter; the electronic viewfinder or tilting 3.0" touchscreen will display the 399 phase-detection points lighting up across the frame.
