Versatile E-Mount Zoom Lens

The Sony E PZ 18-105mm f/4 G OSS covers a 27-158mm equivalent range, spanning wide-angle to telephoto for APS-C shooters. A constant f/4 aperture maintains exposure across the zoom, while Optical SteadyShot stabilization assists handheld work. Internal zoom mechanics keep the barrel length fixed during operation.

Pro Filter Kit Adds Protection

The bundle supplies a 72mm multi-coated filter set including UV, circular polarizer and fluorescent light filters to manage glare and colour casts. A blower, cleaning pen, microfiber cloth and starter kit handle dust and smudges on glass surfaces. These accessories arrive ready for immediate use without extra purchases.

Simple Screw-On Installation

Filters thread directly onto the 72mm front thread; no adapters or tools are required for basic mounting. The lens itself locks onto any E-mount body with a standard bayonet twist. Vignetting can appear at the wide end when stacking multiple filters, so remove the UV filter before adding the polarizer.

Questions about this item

How often should the 72mm UV, CPL and FLD filters in the kit be cleaned or replaced?

Clean the 72mm filters with the included microfiber cloth and cleaning pen whenever dust or smudges appear; replace only if coatings are scratched or damaged.

Does the constant f/4 aperture or the Optical SteadyShot stabilization become the limiting factor during long video takes?

The constant f/4 aperture maintains exposure throughout the 18-105mm zoom, while Optical SteadyShot compensates up to four shutter-speed steps for handheld stability.

How much heat or noise does the internal power zoom produce during all-day shooting?

The Handycam-based internal zoom with floating-axis design is engineered to reduce motor noise and heat buildup during extended operation.
