Teleconverter for E-Mount Lenses

The Sony SEL20TC is a 2.0x teleconverter designed for Sony E-mount cameras in both full-frame and APS-C formats. It mounts between the camera body and a compatible lens to double the focal length while preserving communication for metering, autofocus and optical steady shot.

Suited for owners of the FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS

Photographers using that specific lens gain extra reach for sports or wildlife without carrying a longer optic. The converter is not for users of other Sony lenses or third-party glass, as the supplied compatibility list names only the FE 70-200mm f/2.8 GM OSS.

2.0x magnification factor

This single figure determines the effective focal length and the two-stop light loss. The converter maintains full lens-camera communication and features dust- and moisture-resistant construction in a compact 2.46 by 2.46 by 1.68 inch, 0.46 lb package.
