Fisheye Converter for 16mm and 20mm E-mount Lenses

The Sony VCL-ECF2 attaches to the front of the SEL16F28 16mm f/2.8 or SEL20F28 20mm f/2.8 E-mount lenses. It converts the 16mm lens from a 35mm equivalent of 24mm to 15mm and the 20mm lens from 30mm to 20mm equivalent. The optical design uses four elements in four groups to deliver a circular fisheye perspective.

Upgrade from Standard Wide-Angle Coverage

This converter replaces the need for a dedicated fisheye prime when you already own the compatible 16mm or 20mm f/2.8 lenses. The jump is worth it for photographers who want extreme wide-angle distortion for creative architectural, interior or action shots without buying a separate lens. It is not for shooters who need rectilinear correction or a faster maximum aperture than f/2.8.

Simple Front-Mount Installation

The converter threads directly onto the filter threads of the SEL16F28 or SEL20F28, adding minimal length to the lens barrel.
