6-Cup Rectangular Replacement Lid

This two-pack of blue silicone lids fits the Pyrex 7211-PC six-cup rectangular glass dish. They replace lost or cracked original covers so home cooks can keep leftovers sealed without buying new containers. The food-grade silicone is BPA-free and odourless.

Temperature Range and Cleaning

The lids withstand temperatures from -40 °C to 230 °C, making them safe for freezer, microwave and dishwasher use. Silicone construction resists warping and cracking over repeated heat cycles. No power draw or noise is involved with this passive accessory.

Hanging Hole and Seal Benefits

An integrated hanging hole lets each lid dry faster and stores neatly on a hook instead of stacking in a cupboard. The patented leak-proof design creates an airtight seal that locks in freshness and prevents spills during transport.

Questions about this item

How do I fit the lid onto the Pyrex 7211-PC dish, and what step causes leaks?

Stretch the silicone rim over the 22.9108 cm by 24.2062 cm glass edge; the common mistake is leaving a folded section unseated, which breaks the airtight seal.

When will the blue silicone lid need replacing?

The food-grade silicone resists warping and cracking from -40 to 230 °C, so replacement is only needed if the rim tears or the hanging hole stretches out of shape.

What is the first limit I hit if I keep the sealed container in a hot oven?

The material withstands up to 230 °C (446 °F); sustained heat above that will degrade the silicone before any other component fails.
