Compact 2.0 USB speaker for desktop use

The SOULION C40BK is a 2.0 channel speaker system powered by a single USB connection. It delivers 10 watts of total output from two 5 watt drivers in a small black cabinet that measures 4.0 by 3.5 by 5.5 inches and weighs .889 kilograms. A fabric finish adds a tactile surface, while five mirror-like LED light modes provide visual accent for a monitor or laptop setup.

Suits users who want simple stereo with lighting

This speaker fits buyers who need plug-and-play audio for a PC or laptop and also want wireless streaming from a phone or tablet via Bluetooth. The included control pod handles volume, lighting and pairing with physical buttons. It is not for listeners who require a subwoofer for deep bass, a headphone jack for private listening, or a wider frequency range than the stated 20 KHz upper limit.

Handles near-field media and casual gaming

At 10 watts the system comfortably fills a personal workspace with music, video dialogue and game effects. The 4 ohm impedance and 40 decibel signal-to-noise ratio support clear midrange at moderate volumes. Headroom runs out when the room size grows or when program material demands strong low-frequency impact below the published response.

Questions about this item

Do I need a separate power adapter or just a USB port on my PC to run the SOULION C40BK?

The speakers draw 5 V power directly from a USB port, so no external adapter is required.

If I keep my older desktop that only has 3.5 mm audio jacks, can I still use these speakers?

The C40BK connects via USB for audio and power and also supports Bluetooth; it does not have a 3.5 mm input.

How can I confirm the speakers are working correctly after plugging them in?

Audio plays immediately with no driver install, the control pod adjusts volume and cycles the five LED modes, and Bluetooth pairing activates when the pod's reset button is pressed.
