Single USB soundbar for desktop and laptop users

The SOULION R100-MG is a 2.0 speaker that draws power and audio from a single USB connection. Middle grey fabric wraps a 16.0 in long bar that weighs 0.821 kilograms and fits under most monitors. It targets office workers and students who want stereo sound without a separate power brick.

USB audio limits volume and bass response

The 10 watts total output and 4 ohm impedance are capped by the USB bus, so maximum loudness suits near-field listening rather than room-filling playback. Frequency response starts at 150 hertz, meaning deep bass is absent, and the 80 decibel signal-to-noise ratio sets a noise floor audible at very low volumes. Bluetooth adds convenience but introduces compression that wired 3.5 mm bypasses.

Fabric wrap and touch controls shape daily use

The fabric finish resists fingerprints and stays cool during extended sessions. Four touch buttons handle power, playback, volume, light modes and Bluetooth pairing without physical clicks. RGB lighting sits at the bottom edge and can be disabled for distraction-free work. A USB-C to USB adapter and 3.5 mm AUX cable are included for legacy ports.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the USB-C or the 3.5 mm AUX connection for my laptop?

Use USB-C for digital audio and power from one port; switch to the 3.5 mm AUX cable when the device only has a headphone jack.

What does the 10 W rating mean for everyday listening?

Two 5 W drivers deliver clear stereo sound at desktop volume for music, gaming and video calls.

What does the USB 2.0 interface limit in practice?

The USB link carries both audio and power, so no separate adapter is needed and the speaker draws its charge from the same port.
