Soundbar Basics

The SOULION R50 is a 1.0 channel soundbar that delivers 10 watts of total power through a single dynamic driver. It draws power from a 5-volt USB connection and includes a 3.5 mm auxiliary input alongside Bluetooth wireless streaming. A fabric wrap covers the angled cabinet. Touch controls handle volume, lighting and pairing functions. The unit measures 16.0 in long by 2.7 in wide by 3.5 in high and weighs 0.78 kilograms.

Who It Suits

Buyers wanting a compact desktop speaker that fits under a monitor and offers both wired and wireless playback will find the R50 practical. The four LED modes and slanted 30-degree design add visual flair for gaming or media setups. Users who require stereo separation, higher output, a subwoofer, or a dedicated remote control should look at other configurations. The 30 decibel signal-to-noise ratio also limits critical listening use.

Connection Flexibility

The soundbar accepts audio over Bluetooth within a 10 metre or 33 foot range and switches to aux mode through the 3.5 mm jack when the M key is pressed. Both methods share the same USB power cable, which has an exposed length of 1.5 metres. This dual-input design lets the R50 serve a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone without extra adapters.

Questions about this item

How do I install the R50 soundbar and which mode button do I press first?

Plug the USB cable into a 5 V port for power, then press the "M" key to choose Aux Mode for the 3.5 mm jack or Bluetooth Mode for wireless pairing; the light button toggles the four LED modes on or off.

What maintenance will the R50 need over time?

The breathable cloth cover can collect dust; wipe it gently with a dry cloth and keep the 3.5 mm and USB connectors clean to maintain reliable contact.

At what distance does the Bluetooth link on the R50 become unstable?

The supplier specifies a stable range of 10 meters or 33 feet; moving the source device beyond that distance will cause drop-outs.
