Compact wireless speaker for outdoor use

The Soundcore 2 is a portable Bluetooth speaker built around two 6W drivers that produce 12W stereo output. Its IPX7 rating protects the internals against immersion in water up to one metre, making it suitable for poolside, beach or rainy conditions. A 5200mAh Li-ion cell powers up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge.

Simple pairing with optional stereo expansion

Connecting the speaker to a phone or tablet uses Bluetooth 5 and takes only a few seconds. For wider soundstage, a second Soundcore 2 can be linked wirelessly to create a stereo pair. The built-in microphone enables hands-free calls, and the control layout is limited to basic playback and volume buttons.

Battery life varies with volume and content

The quoted 24-hour figure applies at moderate listening levels; louder playback or bass-heavy material will reduce actual runtime. Bluetooth 5 range is subject to obstacles and interference, so stable connection distance may be shorter than the theoretical maximum. The speaker charges via a legacy micro-USB port rather than USB-C.
