What the product is

The Southern Champion paperboard pizza boxes measure 16 inches wide and ship in a carton of 100. They suit pizzerias, takeaway kitchens and catering operations that need a consistent supply of clean, food-grade containers.

Thermals, noise and power

The clay-coated exterior forms a liquid- and oil-resistant barrier that keeps heat and moisture contained during transport. The lock-corner construction allows the lid to be propped open for serving without collapsing the box structure.

What this replaces and when to upgrade

These boxes replace generic corrugated cartons that absorb grease and soften under steam. The upgrade is worth it when a kitchen needs a stiffer, leak-resistant box that presents a white, professional appearance for every order.

Questions about this item

How do I assemble the lock-corner pizza boxes and what step is often missed?

Fold each side panel upward, then tuck the locking tabs into the corner slots until they click; the step often missed is fully seating both tabs on every corner so the lid props open without collapsing.

When will the clay-coated paperboard need replacement during food service?

Replace a box once the clay coating shows saturation, tearing, or oil breakthrough, because the barrier no longer resists liquids and the box loses structural rigidity.

What limits how many pizzas I can stack in these 16-inch boxes during a busy shift?

The 1 7/8-inch sidewall height is the first limit; stacking beyond a few boxes compresses the lower lids and can crush the pies inside.
