Compact waterproof speaker

The SOWO SOUNDWAVE MINI is a 2.1 CH portable speaker rated at 12 watts with an IPX7 waterproof and dustproof enclosure. It targets listeners who want a small wireless unit for shower, pool or outdoor use. The 1500 mAh battery supports all-day playback at moderate volume.

Thermals noise power draw

Passive cooling and a low 3 ohm nominal impedance keep the cabinet cool and silent during typical indoor or outdoor listening. Battery operation removes any AC adapter noise and eliminates mains power draw while the speaker runs on its internal cell.

Sustained load behaviour

At higher output the driver handles a 27Hz to 120kHz frequency response while the enclosure remains shockproof and waterproof. Two units can be paired wirelessly for stereo surround sound without cables. The RGB light show pulses to the music rhythm and can be disabled by a long button press.

Questions about this item

How do I pair two Soundwave Mini speakers for stereo sound?

Power on both units, then press the pairing button on one speaker until the LED flashes rapidly; the second speaker will connect automatically and the pair will operate as left and right channels.

What part of the Soundwave Mini needs the most care to keep the IPX7 rating?

The charging port plug must be fully closed before any water exposure; if the silicone seal tears or the plug is lost, the speaker is no longer waterproof.

At what volume level does the 1500 mAh battery run out fastest on the Soundwave Mini?

Maximum volume with the RGB light show active drains the battery quickest; playback time shortens noticeably compared with moderate volume and lights off.
