Its 90-degree point angle and 1/4-inch shank fit standard collets, while the 2-inch overall length provides reach for general workshop jobs. Micro-grain carbide construction gives the toughness needed for wood, aluminium, copper, MDF and a range of steels.

ZrN-A coating for heat and wear

A Zirconium nitride plus Titanium aluminium boron nitride coating lubricates the cutting edges, delivering stability at high temperatures and better wear resistance than TiAlN, TiN or TiCN alternatives. This makes the jump from uncoated or single-layer coated tools worthwhile when cutting alloy steels (HB225-325), pre-hardened steels (up to HRC45) or hardened steels (HRC40-45) at elevated speeds.

Capacity across wood to hardened steel
