Stainless steel air cylinder with chrome rod, nose mount

SPEEDAIRE

SPEEDAIRE Air Cylinder 1-1/16 In Bore 1 In Stroke

SKU CH-H1P8-PGSYE

Single-acting stainless-steel air cylinder with a 1-1/16-inch bore, 1-inch stroke and magnetic piston

  • Product typeSingle Acting
  • Single-acting design simplifies control circuits
  • Stainless steel body resists corrosion in harsh environments
  • Magnetic piston enables reliable position sensing
  • Nose mounting allows compact front-end installation
  • 16 lb spring return retracts rod without air pressure

Pneumatic Actuator for Linear Motion

This single-acting air cylinder provides push-force motion in a compact stainless steel body. The magnetic piston enables position sensing for automated sequences. It suits machinery, fixtures and test rigs that need a short, repeatable stroke.

Replaces Worn or Non-Magnetic Round-Body Units

Upgrade when an existing cylinder leaks, loses spring force or lacks a magnetic piston for sensor feedback. The 1 1/16 in bore and 1 in stroke match many legacy mounts, so the swap is direct. Rubber cushions reduce end-of-stroke impact compared with unpadded designs.

Fits Front-Nose Mounting With 1/8 in NPT Supply

Builders who need a non-repairable, spring-return actuator with chrome-plated rod and anodised finish will find the spec aligned. Teams requiring double-acting travel, adjustable cushions or a repairable body should evaluate other cylinder types.

Questions about this item

What front nose-mount dimensions does the 1-1/16 in bore cylinder need?

The round body cylinder mounts through its front nose thread; the bore is 1-1/16 in and the body is stainless steel with an anodized finish.

Which installation step is often missed on this single-acting, spring-return cylinder?

Connect the 1/8 in NPT air inlet to extend the rod; the internal spring provides a 6 lb retraction force automatically when pressure is released.

What maintenance or replacement does this non-repairable cylinder require later?

The unit is sealed and non-repairable; replace the entire cylinder if the rubber cushion, magnetic piston, or chrome-plated rod seal wears out.
