It also supports the LQ-2090 impact printer. The dye-based ink formulation is designed for sharp, clear text on continuous forms and multi-part documents. Supplied as a single cartridge in new condition.

Ready-to-Install Cartridge Design

The cartridge arrives fully assembled so it drops straight into the printer without extra steps or loose ribbon handling. Its dye-based ribbon is manufactured to match OEM dimensions and tension, delivering consistent, smudge-free output from the first print to the last. One cartridge provides the approximate page yield stated by the maker, giving a cost-effective alternative to the original ribbon.

For Offices Using Listed Epson Impact Models

This ribbon suits businesses that run the specific Epson FX and LQ impact printers named above and want a lower-cost black ribbon that installs directly. It is not for users of Epson inkjet or laser printers, nor for impact models outside the listed series. Buyers needing colour ribbons or high-capacity packs should look at other listings.

Questions about this item

How often will the S015335 black ribbon cartridge need replacing?

The cartridge yields approximately the same page count as the original Epson S015335 ribbon; replace it when print density fades or the printer signals end of life.

What limits continuous printing on the FX-2190 with this ribbon?

The dye-based ribbon substrate depletes with each impact, so sustained high-volume runs are limited by the finite ink reservoir inside the cartridge.

Does the compatible ribbon change the noise or heat of the FX-2175 during all-day operation?

No, the ribbon is a passive consumable; it does not alter the printer’s mechanical noise, thermal output or power draw.
