Compatible MICR Toner for HP 90A

This SpeedyInks cartridge replaces the HP 90A CE390A black toner. It fits LaserJet Enterprise M601, M602, M603 and M4555 series printers. The unit is new and sold as a single pack. It is built for offices that print cheques or other documents requiring magnetic ink character recognition.

Standard yield rated at 10000 pages

Page yield is measured at 5 percent coverage under ISO-19752. The dye-based formulation delivers consistent density across the full rated life. Output remains stable during long print runs without the fade that can appear on short-test bursts. The cartridge is the standard capacity version, not a high-yield variant.

Works only with printers bought in the United

The supplier notes this toner will only function in hardware purchased within those two countries. Buyers with printers sourced elsewhere cannot use this cartridge. No other regional restriction is mentioned in the data.

Questions about this item

Does the cartridge run hot or draw extra power during long print runs?

The toner is a passive component and does not generate heat or consume power; the printer itself handles all thermal and electrical load.

Must I already own a specific HP LaserJet Enterprise model for this CE390A replacement to work?

Yes, it fits the M4555f, M4555fskm, M4555h, M601n, M601dn, M602n, M602dn, M602x, M603n, M603dn and M603xh.

Will the cartridge work alongside the older maintenance kits already installed in my M602dn?

The toner operates independently of the printer’s maintenance kit; it simply supplies black dye-based ink for up to 10000 pages at 5 % coverage.
