Everyday wired headset for calls

The SPRACHT HS-WD-USB-2 is a wired on-ear headset designed for daily use with Windows and macOS computers. It connects via USB and features 40mm speakers with digital signal processing. A busy light on the headset signals when you are on a call. The leatherette ear cushions and adjustable headband aim to keep you comfortable through long sessions.

Suits remote workers needing simple USB audio

This headset fits professionals who spend hours on Zoom, Skype, Skype for Business, 3CX and similar conferencing apps. The noise-canceling microphone captures voice between 150Hz and 6.8kHz at 41dB sensitivity while blocking up to 80% of background noise. Buyers who want wireless freedom or audiophile-grade music reproduction should look elsewhere.

In-line controls and rotating boom add flexibility

The attached controller puts volume up, volume down and microphone mute at your fingertips without opening software. The microphone arm rotates 360 degrees so you can wear the boom on the left or right side. A built-in circuit breaker protects the 64-ohm microphone and your ears from sudden volume spikes.

Questions about this item

Does this headset need a USB port on my computer to work?

Yes, it connects through a wired USB interface for use with Windows or macOS computers and laptops.

Will the 40 mm speakers and noise-canceling microphone work properly if I keep my older sound card?

The headset uses its own digital signal processing and USB connection, so it operates independently of any separate sound card you may have installed.

How can I confirm the microphone is capturing my voice within the 150 Hz to 6.8 kHz range after setup?

Make a test recording in your conferencing app and listen for clear speech; the in-line mute button and volume controls also let you verify the mic is live.
