Water-pump pressure switch

The Square D 9013FS is a DPST pressure switch designed to control water-pump motors automatically. It operates on a factory-set 20 to 40 psi range with a 15 to 30 psi adjustable differential. The single 1/4 in FNPT port connects directly to the pump system. NEMA 1 rating limits use to indoor or protected locations.

Motor-load capacity and pressure limits

The switch handles 1 1/2 hp at 120 V single-phase, 2 hp at 240 V single-phase, 3 hp at 240 V three-phase and 1 hp at 480 V three-phase. Pressure settings can be adjusted anywhere from 5 to 65 psi, but the differential cannot be set below 15 psi or above 30 psi. Operating temperature spans -22 to 257 degrees F, so extreme cold or heat beyond that range is not supported.

Manual auto-off lever and wiring format

A manual Auto/Off lever on the cover lets the user disable automatic cycling without rewiring. The DPST contact form breaks both lines simultaneously for positive motor disconnect. No unloader valve is included, so systems requiring head-pressure relief need a separate unloader. The 10 A contact rating suits the listed motor loads without additional relay.
