The Square D top push rod plunger switch is a miniature limit switch rated for AC and DC circuits up to 600 V at 10 A. It provides one normally open and one normally closed contact in a body measuring 2.5 in high by 0.83 in wide by 1.14 in deep. The adjustable actuator extends 1.01 in from the top of the unit.

Rugged Enclosure For Harsh Environments

The switch carries NEMA ratings 1, 2, 4, 6, 6P, 12 and 13, indicating protection against dust, water ingress and oil. Its miniature body style allows installation in tight control panels or machine frames where space is limited. The boot sealed actuator is absent, so the plunger remains exposed for direct mechanical actuation.

Replaces Worn Miniature Limit Switches

This unit serves as a direct replacement for failed miniature limit switches in conveyor, packaging or safety interlock applications. The jump is worth it when an existing switch shows contact wear, actuator binding or enclosure damage that compromises the NEMA seal.
