Safety Switch 60 A 240 V 15 hp

This enclosed safety switch carries a 60 A current rating at 240 V AC and delivers 15 hp motor capacity. It uses a 3PST contact form and includes a neutral assembly for three-phase loads. The steel housing is rated NEMA 1 and IP20 for indoor surface-mount installation. It accepts Class H, K and R fuses with an optional Class R fuse kit.

Capacity and headroom

The 60 A rating handles standard motor loads up to 15 hp at 240 V AC with adequate headroom for inrush current. It runs out when the connected load exceeds the 60 A continuous rating or the 15 hp nameplate limit. The standard-duty enclosure and IP20 rating restrict use to clean indoor environments only.

Fuse class compatibility

This switch is designed for Class H, Class K and Class R fuses and ships with a neutral assembly included. A separate Class R fuse kit (RFK03H) is required for Class R fuse rejection feature. Buyers needing a different fuse class or an outdoor-rated enclosure cannot use this model.
