This release brings the tactical role-playing game Final Fantasy Tactics to the Nintendo Switch platform. Players command units across grid-based battlefields where positioning and job abilities determine the outcome of each encounter.

Story and setting

The narrative unfolds in the kingdom of Ivalice following the Fifty Years' War. A succession crisis triggers the War of the Lions between rival dukes Goltanna and Larg. The plot follows Ramza Beoulve and his childhood friend Delita as they navigate the political turmoil and uncover a deeper conspiracy.

For strategy RPG players

This version suits players who want to experience the classic tactical gameplay on modern Nintendo hardware. Buyers seeking a fast-paced action game or a title with real-time combat mechanics should look elsewhere.
