Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition Xbox One Digital Code

This downloadable game delivers the complete Final Fantasy XV experience on Xbox One through a digital code. Players join Prince Noctis and his companions in their quest to reclaim the fallen kingdom of Lucis. The Royal Edition bundles the base game with all season pass content and additional features. It is suited for RPG fans who want the full story without managing physical media.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

As a digital download the title produces no additional heat, fan noise or power consumption beyond the console's normal operation. Storage space on the Xbox One internal drive or an external USB drive is required for installation. Network bandwidth is needed only for the initial download and any subsequent patches. The Multiplayer Expansion Comrades requires an active Xbox Live Gold subscription to access online features.

Included DLC and gameplay additions

The package adds the Insomnia City Ruins dungeon with an expanded map, first person mode, new gear and new bosses. Armiger Unleashed unlocks after collecting all 13 royal arms for a more action oriented combat style. The Royal Vessel becomes a controllable boat allowing free exploration of the waters between Cape Caem and Altissia. Over a dozen extra items such as weapons, Regalia car skins and item sets are also included.

Questions about this item

How do I install the digital code for Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition on Xbox One?

Redeem the G3Q-00467 code in the Microsoft Store on your Xbox One console or via the Xbox website; the game then downloads and installs automatically. The step people miss is confirming the download finishes before launching, as the Royal Edition includes over a dozen DLC packs that install alongside the base game.

Will I need to repurchase any DLC or expansions later for this Royal Edition?

No. The Royal Edition already includes all season pass content — Episode Gladiolus, Episode Prompto, Episode Ignis, and the Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades — plus over a dozen additional DLC pieces such as weapons, Regalia skins, and item sets.

What online requirement limits the Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades during sustained play?

The Comrades multiplayer expansion requires an active Xbox Live Gold subscription; without it, that mode becomes inaccessible even though the single-player campaign and other Royal Edition features remain playable offline.
