Rico's Signature Gun DLC

This downloadable add-on equips Rico Rodriguez with a custom Agency pistol built for precision and power in Just Cause 2. It is for PC players who already own the base game and want a distinctive sidearm that matches Rico's shooting style. The content is delivered as a Steam code and requires an active Steam account for activation and installation.

Minimum system requirements set the practical floor

The DLC shares the base game's demands: a dual-core CPU with SSE3, 2 GB of system memory, 10 GB of free drive space, and a DirectX 10 graphics card with 256 MB of video memory. Windows XP is unsupported; the earliest supported operating system is Windows Vista. A DirectX 10 compatible sound card is also required for audio output.

Steam DRM is the single gatekeeper

Without a Steam account and the Just Cause 2 base game registered to that account, the code cannot be redeemed and the weapon will not appear in-game. Buyers who do not use Steam or who lack the base game have no way to access this content. The ESRB Mature rating applies to the base game experience.

Questions about this item

Is this the only downloadable version of Rico's Signature Gun DLC for PC?

Yes, the product is sold as a single PC download code (model SE050) with no alternative editions listed.

What does the 10 GB drive-space requirement mean once the DLC is installed?

It means you need at least 10 GB of free space on your hard drive to download and install the DLC alongside the base game.

How does the Steam DRM affect activation and play?

The DLC requires a Steam account; after redeeming the online code in Steam the content is tied to that account and launches through the Steam client.
