PC Downloadable DLC for Kane & Lynch 2 Owners

It is designed for PC players who already own the base game and want to expand their weapon selection. The content is delivered as a digital code for Steam activation. A Steam account and the original game are required to use this pack.

Seven New Weapons Across Multiple Classes

The pack introduces a mix of handguns, shotguns and assault rifles including the Doretta Silenced, Steele 870, TOQ SBR, Kaliningrad 47, PAC 10 Silenced, N 77P Silenced and TOQ Elite. These weapons become available in all Multiplayer modes and Arcade mode, giving players more tactical variety during online matches. No single-player campaign content is included.

This DLC will not function without a separate purchase of Kane & Lynch 2 on PC. The Steam platform is mandatory for activation and installation, so buyers without a Steam account cannot access the content. The product is an online code with no physical media, and it carries an ESRB Mature rating for intense violence and strong language. Buyers who do not own the base game or prefer DRM-free distribution cannot use this item.

Questions about this item

Do the seven new weapons from the Alliance Weapon Pack need any future updates or patches to keep working?

No ongoing maintenance is required; once the DLC is activated on Steam the seven weapons — Doretta Silenced, Steele 870, TOQ SBR, Kaliningrad 47, PAC 10 silenced, N 77P Silenced, TOQ Elite — remain available in every Multiplayer and Arcade session.

What hardware limit will I hit first if I play Kane & Lynch 2 with this DLC for hours on end?

The 512 MB video-memory requirement on a Shader Model 3.0 card such as an Nvidia 7800 or ATI X1800 is the first ceiling; sustained play will stress that GPU memory before the 1 GB or 2 GB system RAM or the 9 GB disk space become bottlenecks.

How much extra heat or fan noise does the Alliance Weapon Pack add when the game runs all day?

The DLC itself adds no measurable heat or noise; only the base game’s load on a 3.0 GHz Intel or 2.5 GHz AMD processor and a DirectX 9.0c GPU determines temperature and fan speed.
