Steam DRM and Windows requirements

The code activates on Steam and runs on Windows 7 at minimum, with Windows 10 recommended. Minimum specs call for a 2.20 GHz dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM, and a graphics card with 256 MB video memory such as the GeForce 7900 GS or Radeon HD 2600 XT, plus DirectX 9.0c and 1 GB storage.

Lightweight action platformer headroom

The game fits in 1 GB of storage and needs only 1 GB RAM at minimum, so it runs on very modest hardware. Recommended specs ask for a 3.30 GHz dual-core or 3.0 GHz quad-core processor, 2 GB RAM, and a GeForce GT 630 or Radeon HD 3870. It will not satisfy players seeking modern high-fidelity graphics or large-scale open worlds.

Questions about this item

Will the Steam DRM require re-authentication after a system rebuild?

Steam manages the licence; re-install the client, log in and the game re-downloads without a new code.

Which spec hits the ceiling first during long sessions — the 1 GB minimum RAM or the 256 MB video memory?

The 256 MB VRAM on a GeForce 7900 GS or Radeon HD 2600 XT will limit texture detail before system RAM becomes a bottleneck.

Does the Intel Celeron E1500 at 2.20 GHz run hot enough to throttle after hours of play?

The minimum CPU is a low-power dual-core; sustained loads stay well within its thermal envelope on stock cooling.
