What Boundless Is

Boundless is a downloadable Standard Edition game published by Square Enix and delivered through Steam. The code activates an online sandbox where players explore connected planets, build settlements, hunt creatures and trade resources in a persistent universe rated E10+.

Who It Suits And Who It Does Not

The title fits players who want a massively multiplayer experience blending action adventure, RPG progression, indie creativity and casual exploration. Buyers without a Steam account or a broadband connection cannot activate or play the game. Systems limited to 32-bit Windows or lacking DirectX 11 support are also unsuitable.

The Specification That Decides Fit

A 64-bit Windows 7 installation or newer is the minimum operating-system requirement; without it the launcher will not run. The minimum processor baseline is an Intel Core i3-530 at 2.93 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 945 at 3.00 GHz paired with 4 GB RAM and an AMD Radeon R7 250 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 650 graphics card.

Questions about this item

How much power does the GTX 650 or Radeon R7 250 draw while running Boundless all day?

Will Boundless run on my Windows 7 64-bit PC with an Intel Core i3-530 and 4 GB RAM?

Yes, that matches the minimum requirements: Windows 7 64-bit, Core i3-530 at 2.93 GHz, 4 GB RAM, and a GTX 650 or Radeon R7 250 with DirectX 11.
