What this product is

This is a new digital download code for Battalion 1944, a competitive WWII first-person shooter published by Square Enix. The code activates on Steam and delivers the full game without physical media. It targets players who want skill-based 5v5 infantry combat with period-accurate weapons and no modern progression gimmicks.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

It suits competitive FPS players who value precise gunplay, dedicated servers and integrated FACEIT matchmaking. It also appeals to modders and server hosts who want full custom configuration tools. Buyers who prefer single-player campaigns, large-scale battles with vehicles or persistent character unlocks will not find those modes here.

Steam activation and system baseline

The product requires a Steam account and a 64-bit Windows installation from Windows 7 SP1 through Windows 10. Minimum hardware calls for an Intel dual-core processor at 2.7 GHz or AMD dual-core at 3.0 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, and a DirectX 11 compatible graphics card with 2 GB VRAM. A broadband connection is mandatory for online play.

Questions about this item

Will I need to repurchase the game if my Steam account changes?

No, the Steam DRM ties the licence to your Steam account; the game stays in that library unless you remove it yourself.

What hardware limit appears first when I play long competitive matches?

The 8 GB RAM minimum is the tightest spec; sustained 5v5 rounds will hit memory capacity before the dual-core CPU requirement becomes a bottleneck.

How loud or hot does my PC get running this all day?

The game only lists minimum CPU and GPU specs; actual heat and fan noise depend entirely on your own hardware and cooling, not on the download code itself.
