Digital remake of a 1995 Japanese RPG

Trials of Mana is a 3D remake of the 1995 Japanese classic Seiken Densetsu 3 published by Square Enix. It delivers an action RPG experience with modernised graphics, an upgraded battle system, character voices and a remastered soundtrack. The overlapping story changes based on the chosen main character and companions. This downloadable game is for players who want a classic RPG rebuilt for current Windows PCs.

Requires 64-bit Windows 8.1 or 10

The single specification that decides compatibility is the operating system requirement: a 64-bit version of Windows 8.1 or Windows 10 is mandatory. The game also needs a processor running at 2.5 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, a graphics card equivalent to a Radeon RX 460 or GTX 760, DirectX 11 and 20 GB of storage. Buyers on 32-bit systems or older Windows versions cannot run this title.

Early-purchase DLC and wallpaper set

The bundled accessories consist of the Rabite Adornment DLC accessory, which grants extra experience up to level 10, and a downloadable wallpaper set offered until 21 May 2020. The wallpapers feature artwork with English and Japanese logo options in resolutions including 1024 x 768, 1280 x 1024, 1920 x 1080, 2560 x 1600 and 3840 x 2160. These extras do not affect core gameplay mechanics.

Questions about this item

How much hard-drive space will the game actually take once it is installed?

The Steam download requires 20 GB of free space on a 64-bit Windows 8.1 or 10 system.

Does the Steam DRM limit anything once the code is redeemed?

The code activates on Steam, so the title is tied to that account and requires the client to launch.

Will the Rabite Adornment DLC still work if I redeem the code after 21 May 2020?

The early-purchase bonus was only available until 21 May 2020 PDT, so codes redeemed later will not grant the accessory.
