Extended desk mat dimensions

The Stanploe DS-05-4080-Glow Forest mouse pad covers an area of 31.5 by 15.7 inches, giving enough room for a full-size keyboard and mouse together. Its lycra surface is optimised for fast, accurate tracking with optical, wireless and mechanical mice. A 3 mm thickness provides a comfortable wrist rest during long sessions. The non-slip rubber base keeps the mat firmly in place on any desk.

Stitched edges and washable surface

The reinforced stitched edges resist fraying and degumming even after prolonged daily use, maintaining a flat surface for consistent glide. Spills can be wiped away with a damp cloth or the entire mat can be machine washed and hung to dry. The flexible rubber construction allows the mat to be rolled up for transport or storage without permanent creasing. This durability suits both home offices and gaming stations.

Questions about this item

Does the 0.1 in thick rubber base keep the mat flat and cool during all-day use?

The 0.1 in rubber layer stays flat on the desk and does not generate heat, so the surface temperature remains neutral during extended sessions.

What desk area is needed for the 31.5 x 15.7 in mat to sit without overhang?

A clear rectangle at least 31.5 in wide and 15.7 in deep lets the mat lie fully supported by its anti-slip rubber base.

Will the lycra surface track accurately with an older optical mouse?

The ultra-smooth lycra is optimized for optical, mechanical and wireless sensors, so legacy optical mice glide and track without issues.
