Ergonomic Gel Wrist Support

The Staples ST61822 is a gel-filled wrist rest designed for keyboard users who want to reduce forearm and wrist stress during long typing sessions. Its medium-firm cushion conforms to the wrist while the non-slip gel base keeps the pad stationary on the desk surface.

Non-Slip Base and Gel Cushion

The gel base prevents the wrist rest from sliding during use, maintaining consistent alignment with the keyboard. The gel-filled cushion distributes pressure evenly across the wrist, helping to minimise contact stress on hard desk edges.

Simple Desk Placement

Installation requires only placing the unit on a clean, flat surface in front of the keyboard; no adhesives, clips or software are involved. The low 0.91-inch profile fits under most monitor stands, though the 18.66-inch length suits full-size keyboards and may overhang compact layouts.

Questions about this item

Will the gel cushion on the ST61822 wrist rest lose its shape or need replacing after daily use?

The gel-filled design is built for durable, long-term support and does not require scheduled replacement under normal typing conditions.

What is the first comfort limit I will hit during a full day of typing on the 18.66 by 2.8 inch surface?

The fixed 18.66 inch length and 2.8 inch width set the boundary; if your keyboard spacing or hand travel exceeds those dimensions, the rest will not cover the full range.

Does the black gel wrist rest get warm or sticky after sitting on the desk all day?

The gel surface stays at room temperature and the non-slip base keeps it in place without generating heat or becoming tacky during extended use.
