Two-pack rechargeable under-cabinet LED kit

The STAR-SPANGLED US-25A-YE2 includes two 8-inch bars that run on built-in 900 mAh batteries and mount magnetically, with adhesive plates or a hanging hole. Each bar draws 0.8 watts and uses 20 LEDs rated at 140 Lm/W and Ra 90 to produce 160 lumens of warm white light. Indoor use only.

Renters, cabinet owners and anyone avoiding wiring

Magnetic and adhesive mounting means no screws or drilling, so the lights suit rental kitchens, pantries, closets or shelves where permanent fixtures are not allowed. Builders who need hard-wired, water-resistant or higher-output fixtures should look elsewhere.

Motion-activated run time up to 45 days

In AUTO mode the sensor detects movement up to 16 feet away in darkness and keeps the light on for 20 seconds after motion stops, delivering 30 to 45 days of use per charge. If continuous illumination is required the same battery lasts only 12 hours.

Questions about this item

What surfaces can I mount these 8 inch lights on without drilling?

The kit includes strong magnets and adhesive iron plates for magnetic mounting on any surface, plus a hanging hole for screw or hook installation and a flat base for freestanding placement.

Will the motion sensor still trigger if I keep a dim night-light in the same cabinet?

The built-in light sensor only activates the motion detection in dark or low-light conditions, so a nearby night-light may prevent the 120-degree, 16 ft sensor from turning the LEDs on.

How do I know the 900 mAh battery is charging correctly after I plug in the USB-C cable?

Connect the supplied 20 inch dual-ended USB-C cable to a 1 A charger; the indicator on each light shows charging status and a full charge delivers up to 45 days in auto mode or 12 hours in always-on mode.
