6-Foot WiFi Smart LED Tape Light

The Starfish S11263 is a 6-foot indoor LED tape light that connects to a 2.4 GHz WiFi network for app and voice control. It draws 20 watts at 120 volts and delivers 1600 lumens with an 80 CRI rating across RGB and tunable white ranges from 3000K to 6500K. The strip is dimmable and rated for 25,000 hours of life.

Best for Voice-Controlled Accent Lighting

This strip suits renters or homeowners who want plug-in accent lighting under cabinets, along coves or behind furniture without a separate hub. It works with Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant and SmartThings directly. Buyers who need outdoor-rated tape, longer continuous runs or hardwired installations should look elsewhere.

Self-Adhesive Strip and Cut-to-Length Design

The package includes one tape light with a self-adhesive backing that simplifies mounting on clean surfaces. The strip can be cut to length for custom fits, and an optional 3-foot extension strip is sold separately for longer runs. No additional accessories or software licences are bundled.

Questions about this item

Does the 6-foot tape light need a separate hub or bridge to work with Siri, Alexa, Google Assistant and SmartThings?

No hub is required; the strip connects directly to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and is controlled by voice or the Starfish mobile app.

Can I keep using my existing 120-volt dimmer switch with this plug-in LED strip?

The strip is dimmable through the app or voice assistants; a wall dimmer on the same circuit is not needed and may interfere with smooth dimming.

How can I confirm the 1600-lumen output and 80 CRI colour quality are performing correctly after installation?

Use the Starfish app to set the strip to its brightest white setting (6500 K) and compare the light level to the rated 1600 lumens; consistent, vivid colours across the 3000-6500 K range indicate the 80 CRI is working as specified.
