Bi-metal fast-cut hole saw creates clean 25 mm openings in metal and wood
The Starrett DCH0100-G is a 1 inch bi-metal fast cut hole saw designed for electricians, plumbers and general trade professionals who need clean holes in sheet metal, stainless steel or wood. Its 25 mm cutting diameter matches common conduit and pipe sizes for standard installations.
The saw is not impact rated, so it is intended for use with standard rotary drills rather than high-torque impact drivers. Under sustained drilling pressure the bi-metal teeth maintain cutting speed without the premature wear that occurs when an unrated saw is driven by an impact tool.
Installation requires a compatible arbor with a pilot drill; the saw threads on directly and the pilot bit centres the cut. The most common issue is using an undersized arbor or running the drill at excessive speed, which can cause the saw to walk or the teeth to strip.

The bi-metal construction dissipates heat during extended cutting, and the fast-cut tooth geometry reduces friction so the saw stays cooler in continuous use.
This hole saw requires a separate arbor with a pilot drill that matches its 1 in 25 mm diameter; the arbor is not included.
The fast-cut teeth are designed for smooth engagement at typical drill speeds, so the saw cuts cleanly without grabbing on older variable-speed models.
