12.5 inch 16:9 Touch Privacy Screen

This StarTech privacy filter fits 12.5 inch laptop displays with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It limits the viewing angle so on‑screen content is visible only to the person directly in front of the screen. The package includes adhesive strips, flip‑up tabs, a lifting tab, a wiping cloth, a mounting tab set and a quick‑start guide. It is suited for professionals who handle confidential data in shared or public spaces.

Viewing angle restriction limits

The filter narrows the visible area to a straight‑on position, so anyone viewing from the side sees a darkened screen. This protects sensitive information but also means collaborators sitting beside the user cannot read the display without moving. The adhesive and tab mounting options allow semi‑permanent or removable installation depending on workflow needs.

12.5 inch 16:9 compatibility requirement

The filter is cut precisely for 12.5 inch panels with a 16:9 ratio; it will not align correctly on screens of other sizes or aspect ratios. Buyers must verify their laptop’s exact diagonal and aspect ratio before purchase, as an incorrect match leaves gaps or covers active display area.
