STARTECH 142MGPRIVACYSCREEN 14" MacBook Pro 21/23 privacy accessory

SKU CH-X8F3-JJ55H MPN 142MGPRIVACYSCREEN

A 14-inch gold privacy filter for 2021 and 2023 MacBook Pro that shifts to a mirror effect beyond a 60-degree viewing angle, includes a double-sided glossy and matte finish with blue light reduction.

  • Protects confidential data with a gold filter that shifts to a mirror effect outside a 60-degree view
  • Reduces eye strain by cutting blue light while maintaining clear visibility for the user
  • Offers flexible viewing with a glossy gold side for privacy and a matte anti-glare side for bright spaces
  • Fits 2021 and 2023 14-inch MacBook Pro models exactly without blocking the webcam or lid closure
  • Installs cleanly using residue-free adhesive strips that leave no marks on the display

14-inch MacBook Pro compatibility

This privacy screen fits the 2021 and 2023 14-inch MacBook Pro models. It is designed for professionals who handle confidential data in open offices or public spaces. The filter limits the viewing angle to 60 degrees, centred on the user, so onlookers see a mirror-like gold surface instead of screen content. Installation uses residue-free adhesive strips that do not interfere with the webcam, sensors or lid closure.

Double-sided filter with glare control

One side presents a glossy gold mirror finish for maximum privacy, while the reverse side offers an anti-glare matte coating with scratch and fingerprint resistance. Users can choose the side that suits the lighting conditions without removing the filter. The exact-fit design keeps the display fully functional and maintains the laptop's original profile when closed. Blue light reduction is also incorporated to lessen eye strain during long sessions.

Suits privacy-focused mobile workers

Ideal for consultants, legal staff and anyone viewing sensitive material away from a private office. The gold mirror effect provides an instant visual deterrent to shoulder surfing. Buyers who need a wider viewing angle for collaborative work, or who prefer a non-reflective matte-only finish, should consider alternative screen protectors. The filter is specific to the 14-inch MacBook Pro generations noted and will not fit other laptop sizes.
