Juniper-compatible SFP+ for 10GBASE-SR

This module provides a hot-swappable 10 Gbps link over multimode fibre with an LC duplex connector. It is programmed and tested for Juniper switches and routers carrying the EX-SFP-10GE-SR part number and also operates in MSA-compliant equipment from brands such as Ubiquiti, D-Link, Netgear, Supermicro and TP-Link. Digital diagnostic monitoring reports transceiver status to SNMP management tools.

Verify switch port coding

The transceiver requires an SFP+ cage that accepts uncoded or Juniper-coded modules and a duplex multimode patch cord terminated with LC connectors. Confirm the host port supports 10GBASE-SR at 850 nm and that the link distance does not exceed 300 m. Single-mode fibre or longer reaches are not supported by this module.

Operating range 0 °C to 70 °C with low power draw

The unit is rated for continuous operation from 0 to 70 °C and storage from -40 to 85 °C at 5 to 95 % relative humidity. SFP+ form factor power consumption remains well within typical cage limits, producing minimal heat and no audible noise.
