Desk-mount anchor for laptop security

This steel anchor point creates a permanent fixture on a desk or table so a cable lock can secure a laptop, dock or similar device. The large ring opening measures 1.4" by .7" (35 x 19 mm) to accept thicker cables or multiple locks at once. It suits offices, schools or shared workspaces where equipment must stay in place.

Screw or adhesive mounting with surface prep

The package includes two wood screws, a cover plate, an abrasive pad and an alcohol wipe for cleaning the mounting surface before installation. You can screw the anchor into wood or use the adhesive backing on a suitable solid surface. The small footprint helps you find a discreet location without obstructing the device.

Zinc-alloy body resists sustained pull force

The anchor is made from durable zinc alloy with a steel enclosure designed to withstand continuous tension from a locked cable. It supports both keyed and combination cable locks without degradation over time. The fixed ring geometry distributes load evenly during prolonged attachment.
