Noble Wedge Laptop Cable Lock

The StarTech NBLWKLAPTOPLOCK is a 6.5ft cut-resistant steel cable lock designed for ultra-slim notebooks, 2-in-1 laptops and tablets equipped with a Noble Wedge slot. Its zinc-alloy lock body resists corrosion and the off-centre tip lets the device lie flat while secured.

Installation Ease and Common Issues

The 4.4mm diameter cable routes through a grommet hole or wraps around a table leg, and optional LTANCHOR or LTANCHORL anchors (sold separately) provide additional mounting points. The lock head pivots 90 degrees and rotates 360 degrees, reducing cable strain, but the lock only fits Noble Wedge slots — it will not work with Kensington or other slot types.

Who This Suits and Who Should Look Elsewhere

Ideal for tradeshow exhibits, point-of-sale terminals and office devices that need a compact, corrosion-resistant lock with a 2m reach. Buyers whose devices lack a Noble Wedge slot, or who require a keyed-alike master-key system, a longer cable than 6.5ft or a combination dial instead of a keyed cylinder, should consider alternative lock designs.

What is included in the box and what must be purchased separately?

The package contains the 6.5 ft cut-resistant steel cable with PVC coating and the zinc-alloy lock head; LTANCHOR or LTANCHORL anchor kits are sold separately for desk mounting.

Which version should I choose for my device?

Select this model only if your laptop, 2-in-1 or tablet has a Noble Wedge slot; the 0.4 in diameter lock body and 4.4 mm cable are sized for ultra-slim notebooks.
