Adds two 5 Gbps USB 3.0 ports with UASP and LP4 power to a PCI Express desktop, includes low-profile bracket
Model LP4 - NEC 2 Ext
This PCI Express expansion card adds two external USB 3.0 ports to a desktop computer. It uses the NEC uPD720202 controller and fits a standard-profile slot with a low-profile bracket included. The card draws auxiliary power through an LP4 connector.
The card replaces reliance on internal USB 2.0 headers or slower add-in cards by providing native 5 Gbps throughput. The jump is worthwhile when external drives or peripherals need the higher signalling rate and UASP support for reduced protocol overhead.
Each port delivers up to 5 Gbps and supports the USB Battery Charging 1.2 specification for faster device charging. Headroom is sufficient for external SSDs and high-capacity hard drives; sustained write workloads that exceed the PCIe lane allocation will saturate the link.

Other versions of this model
Yes, the card uses a standard PCI Express x1 slot and ships with a low-profile bracket for half-height cases.
The LP4 connector must be plugged into a spare power-supply lead; without it the controller cannot deliver the 5 Gbps data rate or the battery-charging current.
The card uses the NEC uPD720202 controller; Windows 10 and later include native support so no separate driver install is required.
