24" 16:10 Privacy Filter

This privacy filter fits 24-inch widescreen LCD monitors with a 16:10 aspect ratio. It limits the viewing angle to plus or minus 30 degrees from centre so on-screen data stays confidential. The transparent plastic sheet is scratch resistant, fingerprint resistant and dust resistant. It is TAA compliant for government and institutional procurement.

Adhesive or Slide Mount Upgrade

The filter replaces makeshift privacy solutions such as cardboard shields or software dimming tools. Adhesive strips attach to the bezel without leaving permanent residue, while slide-mount tabs allow quick removal when collaboration is needed. The jump is worth it when visual privacy must be maintained in open-plan offices, reception areas or shared workstations.

20.4 by 12.8 Inch Coverage

The filter covers the full active area of a compatible 24-inch 16:10 display at 20.4 inches wide by 12.8 inches high and adds only 0.1 inch of depth. It reduces blue light by 30 to 40 percent to lessen eye strain during long sessions. It runs out of privacy protection beyond the specified viewing angle and does not fit monitors with different aspect ratios or diagonal sizes.

Questions about this item

What bezel width does the 20.4 in wide filter need to fit a 24" 16:10 monitor?

The filter measures 20.4 in wide by 12.8 in high and .1 in thick, matching a 24" 16:10 display; adhesive strips or slide-mount tabs attach to the bezel or directly to the screen.

Which side faces out during installation and how do the two mounting methods differ?

The matte or glossy side can face out; adhesive strips bond to the bezel for semi-permanent fit while slide-mount tabs tuck under the bezel lip for removable use — press firmly along all edges after placement.

How do I clean the filter without damaging the scratch-resistant coating?

Use the supplied microfibre cloth with light pressure; avoid liquid cleaners, abrasive pads or paper towels to preserve the anti-glare, fingerprint-resistant surface.
