24 inch privacy screen filter

The StarTech PRIVSCNMON24 is a transparent privacy filter built for 16:9 24 inch widescreen displays. It limits visible content to a +/-30 degree viewing angle from centre so on‑screen data stays confidential in shared or public spaces.

Mounting limits and viewing angle

The filter attaches with adhesive strips that leave no permanent residue and can be mounted on the bezel using side tabs or directly on the screen. Privacy protection only works outside the stated viewing angle; anyone positioned within that cone can still read the display.

Capacity and headroom for daily use

At 20.90 by 11.80 by .10 inches and 3.50 ounces the film adds negligible bulk while reducing blue light by 30 to 40 percent and cutting glare. It protects the panel from scratches, fingerprints and dust but does not increase impact resistance or stop determined visual hacking from within the viewing cone.
