Adds a gigabit Ethernet port and three USB 3.0 Type-A ports to a USB-C device while passing through Power Delivery 2.0 charging
This USB-C adapter adds a Gigabit Ethernet port and three USB 3.0 Type-A ports to a laptop or tablet. It accepts USB Power Delivery 2.0 pass-through so the host can charge while the hub is in use. The integrated reversible USB-C cable connects directly to the host without extra cables. It is suited to mobile workers who need wired networking and extra peripherals on the go.
The adapter works with Windows, macOS, Chrome OS and Linux systems that have a USB-C port supporting data and power delivery. It is not for devices that lack a USB-C data port or cannot supply enough power for attached peripherals. It is not for users who need more than three USB-A ports or faster wired speeds. It is not for environments requiring industrial temperature ranges beyond the stated operating limits.
The single specification that decides fit is the USB Power Delivery 2.0 pass-through capability. If the host laptop charges through USB-C and the user wants to keep charging while using Ethernet and USB peripherals, this adapter supports that scenario. If the host does not support PD charging or the user does not need pass-through power, a simpler hub without PD may be sufficient.

A USB-C port that supports USB 3.0 data; the hub draws bus power for its own operation and passes through up to 100 W from your laptop's USB-C charger via Power Delivery 2.0.
Yes, the Gigabit Ethernet controller follows IEEE 802.3ab and auto-negotiates 10/100/1000 Mbps on standard twisted-pair cabling.
