6-inch USB-C charging cable

The 6-inch white USB-C to USB-C cable delivers up to 60W at 3A for fast charging laptops, tablets and phones from a USB-C wall charger or power bank. It supports USB 2.0 at 480Mbps for file transfer and device synchronisation when connected to a USB-C host computer or external storage. The dual-layer TPE and braided nylon jacket is designed for frequent 90-degree bends and the nickel-plated connectors are rated beyond 10000 insertions.

Installation and common issues

Plug the male-to-male connectors into any USB-C port on the charger, power bank or host computer; no driver or configuration is required. Performance markings on the connectors help identify the cable quickly in a busy kit. The short 15cm length keeps cable clutter low but can be too short for desk setups where the power outlet is farther away. USB-C video using DisplayPort Alternate Mode is not supported, so the cable cannot drive an external monitor.

USB 2.0 interface limits

Data transfer is capped at 480Mbps, which is suitable for documents, photos and backups but slower than USB 3.0 or higher standards for large media files. Power Delivery 2.0 provides up to 60W, enough for many ultraportable laptops and fast phone charging, though some larger laptops need more wattage than this cable can supply. The 23/28AWG conductors and 4mm outer diameter keep the cable flexible while maintaining the rated current capacity.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the cable is delivering the full 60W Power Delivery after I plug it in?

Use a USB-C power meter between the charger and cable; it should show up to 60W at 3A when the connected device requests maximum power.

What comes in the box and is a charger included?

Only the 6-inch USB-C to USB-C cable is supplied; a USB-C wall charger, car charger or power bank must be purchased separately.

Which version should I choose if I need video output or faster data transfer?

This model supports USB 2.0 at 480Mbps and does not carry DisplayPort Alt Mode; select a different cable for video or higher-speed data.
