Narrow-space USB 2.0 A-to-B cable

This 91 cm black cable carries USB 2.0 signals between a right-angle Type-A plug and a right-angle Type-B plug. Both connectors are male, so the lead plugs directly into a host port and a peripheral port without adapters. It is built for tight clearances behind desks, inside cabinets or around rack rails where straight plugs would foul adjacent cables or panels.

Right-angle connectors on both ends

The defining feature is the dual right-angle hood: the Type-A end bends parallel to the host face and the Type-B end bends parallel to the device face. This geometry lets the cable run flat against surfaces in confined spaces where a straight Type-A or Type-B plug would not fit. No other connector style or angle is provided.

Comfortably reaches nearby peripherals

At 91 cm the lead spans the gap between a desktop PC and a neighbouring printer, scanner or external hard drive on the same surface. It handles USB 2.0 data rates for devices such as the listed Canon Pixma MX922, MX522, MX452, Epson XP-310, XP-410, Brother HL 2270DW, MFCJ450DW and HP Envy 4500. It will not reach equipment positioned farther than about one metre from the host port.

Questions about this item

What does the USB 2.0 rating mean for my printer or scanner?

The cable carries the standard USB 2.0 signal, so devices such as the Canon Pixma MX922 or Epson XP-410 operate at their normal speed.

How does the right-angle design affect the connection?

Both the USB-A and USB-B ends are right-angled, letting the cable run flat against the chassis in tight spaces behind a desk or rack.

Will the 91 cm length reach my external drive from a rear port?

At 91 cm the cable spans from a rear motherboard port to a nearby peripheral without excess slack.
