Heat and cold performance

The platinum food-grade silicone is safe for the dishwasher, microwave and oven up to 425°F. It also withstands freezer temperatures and sous vide cooking. The Pinch-Loc seal stays leak-free through repeated heating and cooling cycles.

Pinch-Loc seal and material safety

A pinch-to-close mechanism creates an airtight, leak-free closure without separate lids or clips. The silicone is free from lead, latex, phthalates, BPA and BPS. One bag replaces 260 single-use plastic bags per year.

Questions about this item

How do I seal the Pinch-Loc correctly without trapping air?

Press out excess air, then gently roll down the sides of the seal to close it. Avoid turning the bag inside out, as that can rip the platinum silicone.

How should I clean the bags after sous vide or oven use up to 425°F?

Toss them in the dishwasher or wash with warm soapy water. Dry upside down on a rack; do not turn inside out, which could tear the material.

Will the seal hold during long sous vide sessions at 425°F?

The Pinch-Loc seal is rated for oven temperatures up to 425°F. Always leave the seal slightly open when microwaving and place bags on a baking sheet in the oven.
